Today, January 17/2025, a new English class for Afghan women was started. This class is organized by the IRC and in collaboration with the Kabul Seattle organization. Our goal is to teach practical daily English conversations in an easy-to-understand way by a professional teacher for women who have recently arrived in the United States. The class is taught by Mrs. Breshna Ashoorzadeh. In addition, during these classes, the IRC team will also provide lessons on topics such as mental health, stress management, ways to cope with anxiety, and other related matters. It is important to mention that this class will run for eight sessions, and at the end, a valid certificate and a laptop will be given to each participant. We are happy to serve our community by organizing various programs for our fellow countrywomen. We also thank the IRC for their collaboration in making this program possible.
